Eric Blum

President / Executive Producer

After graduating from CSUN with a degree in Radio/Television Broadcasting, Eric Blum opened his own business in 1981. Initially operating as an ENG company with a client list that included Burger King, Builder's Emporium, Bob Hope and Sammy Davis, Jr., Eric soon realized that corporate video held great opportunities, both financially and creatively. Eric rapidly gained a reputation as a first-rate director.  From there, it was a natural progression to move into the post-production field.  Eric opened his first editing facility primarily to accommodate the live productions he directed. His skills in the director's chair translated well to the editing bay, and thus Eric Blum Productions became a full-service production and post-production facility. Eric now serves in the capacity as Executive Producer for all projects initiated through EBP, working closely with clients in budgeting, scripting and producing.

Rick Pratt

Director / Senior Editor

Rick graduated from California Lutheran University in 1986 with a B.A. in Communication Arts. Almost immediately upon graduating, he began work for Eric Blum Productions, beginning as a production assistant and working his way up through the ranks as a cameraman, graphic artist, editor and producer/director. Working extensively with clients to provide creative solutions for their production and post-production needs, he is experienced in dealing with all types of projects ranging from high-end corporate presentations to broadcast music videos to high definition features, featurettes and electronic press kits. Rick has produced award-winning animations and videos for many of the clients of EBP.

Rick Locke

Production Coordinator

Rick's production career began at age 3 when he toddled out on stage to join Flip Wilson while he was dancing for a live performance. Following a long break in his budding career, Rick began his career in earnest as a production assistant for Sid & Marty Krofft, working on many shows as a production assistant, costume mechanic, camera assistant, utility grip and many other positions that led him to pursue freelance work. Over the last 2 decades, Rick has successfully held positions in many areas of production and post-production including script supervisor, camera operator, assistant editor and studio systems installer. He's been involved from writing to wiring, and many other jobs. Rick joined Eric Blum Productions in June of 2008, and feels right at home discovering the business side of the industry, while still functioning as an assistant editor, systems technician and even handyman.
